Laserage specializes in customization of pre-fabricated components for Medical, Aerospace and Industrial applications.
Laserage is a Contract Manufacturer that offers custom solutions to meet your entire prototype to production needs. We are committed to developing systems and strategies to minimize risk in order to ensure a sustainable delivery of medical device components to our customers. We offer custom tool development, risk management and process validations to ensure that our processes are capable and repeatable.
Laser Cutting
Our state-of-the-art lasers, together with highly skilled staff, allow us to offer flexible, high quality and cost competitive cutting solutions. We offer versatility by effectively utilizing lasers for rapid prototyping through high volume production runs. Laser cutting offers significant benefits over other common manufacturing operations like CNC milling / machining, short run stamping, EDM, plasma cutting, photo etching, turret punching and water jet cutting. Our lasers excel at cutting aluminum, brass, carbon steel, copper, nickel, Nitinol, stainless steel, silver, super alloys, tantalum, titanium, tungsten, platinum and many more. In addition our systems effectively cut other materials such as ceramics, fused quartz, plastics, rubber and various crystalline and composite structures. The laser is so efficient and precise that it is ideally suited for high production volumes when coupled with fully automated or semi-automated tooling configurations.
Laser Welding
Laser welding is a proven joining method for a variety of today’s metals and metal alloys. Various grades of stainless steel, titanium, nickel, and super alloys have been successfully welded with the laser. Its precision, repeatability, and high process speeds, offer a unique alternative to TIG welding, EB welding, resistance welding, brazing, silver soldering and adhesive bonding. The laser is particularly ideal for high production volumes associated with fully automated or semi-automated tooling applications.
