Laserage Technology Corporation ("Laserage") has a long history of concern for environmental protection and strives to stay abreast of all environmental regulations that relate to our industry. This document is intended to inform our customers about Laserage's ability to provide its customers products that are RoHS compliant.
н Laserage declares that lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers, pentabromodiphenyl ether and octabromodiphenyl ether are not intentionally added to any of the following Laserage products, except as noted:
Laser-Machined Ceramic
Laser-Scribed Ceramic
Laser-cut or Laser-welded Metal
Laser-drilled Glass
Laser-cut or Laser-welded Plastic
Electro-polished Metal
*Wire Harness Cable Assemblies***
**Flat-Ribbon Cable Assemblies***
EXCEPTIONS:
*нннннн Laserage does offer, through outside processing, soft gold plating, which may contain lead in the deposit. If it does contain lead, such lead has been intentionally added as a grain refiner and is less than 100 ppm. This gold finish, which is supplied by customer specification only, is used for special applications where customers do not require RoHS compliance.
**ннн Laserage also offers tin lead soldering, which continues to be a required specification in the high reliability connector field. Laserage will continue to supply this finish when specified by our customers and certification of compliance with RoHS cannot be provided for parts built with this process.
***н Laserage also supplies certain cable assemblies utilizing customer-specified connectors from customer-specified suppliers, which are not and cannot be certified RoHS compliant.
To the best of our knowledge, except as noted above, none of our raw material, chemical or plating bath suppliers use these banned substances in their products and Laserage does not intentionally add these banned substances in any of its processing steps. Please note that Laserage and its suppliers do not analyze their products for substances not purposely added. Trace amounts of any chemical and substance may be found as impurities in any product. This certification is subject to change without notice.
